Mitchell Caravan Park is located approximately 1.5km from the centre of town on the corner of Becker Street. We are not on the river. Follow the green and white signs for Brewarrina and you will find us on the corner – look out for the blue and white caravan sign.
Bourke is rich in history and culture – every history buff’s dream. During our peak season (May – September) there is an abundance of activities to keep those willing and wanting to explore, occupied!
Some activities include: hop on board the Jandra Paddleboat, Exhibition Centre, Indigenous walking tour, Crossley Engine start up, Mateship Country Tour with Stu, Outback Show (TBC) or a visit to Fred Hollows Memorial plus much much more…
There is plenty to see and do whilst visiting our slice of the Australian outback, so don’t be surprised seeing yourself staying an extra night, two, three….or maybe a week!
Make sure to book ahead in Peak Season (May – September) to guarantee a spot!
